Description

A smoke grenade simulates the explosion of a Viet Cong booby trap, a replica of which lies half-concealed in the base of the tree. The improvised weapon is set off by a trip wire as a man passes by. The replica is being used as an aid to the instruction of Infantry Corps trainees at the Australian Army's Infantry Centre.
