A Warrant Officer (centre) and a Lieutenant (right) stand in front of a platoon on parade from D (Delta) Company, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR). The platoon is attending a memorial service for company comrades who lost their lives during the battalion's tour of duty. An important part of the ceremony involves the laying and dedication of a plaque inscribed with the names of the fallen, including those killed at the Battle of Long Tan.
