Operation Matilda was the only fully armoured corps operation held in Vietnam, which was carried out in three provinces (Phuoc Tuy, Binh Tuy and Long Khanh - an armoured sweep supported by B Company, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment - New Zealand (ANZAC) (6RAR-NZ (ANZAC)) and B Squadron, 3 Cavalry Regiment along Route 23, Route 28 and Route 1) in III Corps (United States area).
