Description
Members of a platoon from D (Delta) Company, 8RAR, move on patrol down a wide track through the jungle during Phase II of Operation Nudgee. The company is taking part in the operation in collaboration with B and C Companies and the US 2nd Infantry Brigade, 25th Infantry Division. The Americans are sweeping a large area in the central west of the province looking for the Viet Cong D440 Provincial Mobile Battalion, with D Company to occupy a blocking position to the northeast of the Area of Operations.
