All photographs are of 2 Platoon, A Company, most are contact shots taken over periods of 3 to 4 days at a time. The Platoon had at least 1 contact per day, mostly with a lot of sniper activity, a close look at the Diggers sees them looking upwards towards the tops of trees trying to locate the snipers. The Company was commanded by Major (Maj) Kim Patterson, of Nedlands, WA. The tanks of 1 Troop, C Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, were commanded by Lieutenant (Lt) Brian Sullivan. 2 Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), Commanded by 2nd Lieutenant (2Lt) Alex Molnar, of Adelaide, SA. Also includes General (Gen) Abrams Visit.
