A Gloster Meteor F8 aircraft, with the serial number A77-31, with nose art saying 'Billy the Kid' sitting in a sandbagged revetment, waiting for the armourers to remove the rocket 'hang up' after a sortie.This aircraft was acquired by the RAAF in July 1951 and later sold for scrap in April 1959.
