Cars parked at a live open air sheep market in the town of As Samawah. The market is run like an auction and people bid on the animal of their choice to purchase, mainly for meat, and the animal was either slaughtered at the market or taken away live. The sheep markets were run every Tuesday and Thursday. The bulldozer and trucks in the background appear to be carrying out roadworks.
