Description
Pair of steel identity discs, one round and one octagonal, attached to two interlinked lengths of steel beading. Each is impressed on the front 'B4481/ JH DEBELLE/ C OF E' and on the back 'A POS' .
History / Summary
These identity discs were issued to Australian Red Cross Field Force Officer Jean Heather Debelle who served in South Vietnam, between June 1966 and June 1967, with the Royal Australian Air Force, the United States Navy, and the United States 36th Evacuation Hospital at Vung Tau. She also served at Long Binh and visited the Australian Army base at Nui Dat. Her original service number, B4481, shown on the discs, was changed in 1967 to 4950004.
