Aitape to Wewak 1945

Postcard size fold-out folder of drawings by NX129974 Gunner Lloyd William Piper, 2/2 Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. The front cover features the title 'Aitape to Wewak 1945' and the colour patch of Piper's unit. The back cover carries the artists surname, 'Piper' which has been printed in a monogram. The folder contains 12 joined fold-out pages of watercolour drawings that depict various sites visited by the 2/2 Field Regiment during the Aitape-Wewak campaign from January to May 1945.
