Description
An Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) Fire Support Base (FSB) under construction by members and vehicles of 17 Construction Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE). The cage in the foreground, was used for holding prisoners, and is being occupied by one or two soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) who are on a discipline charge. The engineer vehicle in the background is a Kaiser M543 5 ton Wrecker which was used by the Royal Australian Army Engineers during the 1960s. Curved accommodation culverts reinforced with sand bags and an earthern embankment can be seen in the background.
