ADELAIDE RIVER, N.T. 1942-10-29. MEMBERS OF THE 6TH AUSTRALIAN DIVISIONAL CONCERT PARTY UNLOADING EQUIPMENT FROM THE 3-TON TRUCK WHICH SERVES THEM AS TRANSPORT AND STAGE. BY EXTENDING THE FLOOR OF THE TRUCK SIDEWAYS, IT BECOMES THE STAGE, AND BY RAISING THE CANOPY AND SUPPORTS, SUFFICIENT ROOM IS MADE AVAILABLE FOR HANGING SCENERY AND CURTAINS. THE WARDROBE MASTER, CORPORAL E. PAIGE OF 2/2ND FIELD AMBULANCE IS ON THE EXTREME RIGHT, AND PTE. W.J. FITZPATRICK, 2/6 BATTALION (BATMAN VOCALIST).
