Description
A Royal Australian Navy Helicopter Flight Vietnam (RANHFV) operation in the field in Vietnam. Unidentified troops cross a rice paddy to embark an Iroquois helicopter prior to an airlift. RANHFV is attached to the US Army 135th Assault Helicopter Company based at Black Horse Fire Support Base, Phuoc Tuy Province, Vietnam. Throughout their service in Vietnam members of RANHFV provided tactical airlift and gunship support for Australian and Allied ground forces.
