Description

Jones speaks of the reasons for his six-week assignment in South Vietnam; the type of material he is wanting to report on; his visits to 1st Australian Task Force base, Nui Dat and to the village of Hoa Long where, as a result of civic action initiatives, a dispensary, a hospital and other community buildings have been constructed; his impression of the work of the Australian officers in Phuoc Tuy Province.
