Description
An Australian Presbyterian padre, Senior Chaplain R M Park, conducts a burial service at the graveside of a former member of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), 2400018 Private (Pte) George Angus Paterson. Pte Paterson's body was one of eight Commonwealth war dead recently handed over by the Communists (North Koreans) for reburial in the United Nations Military Cemetery at Pusan, Korea. The seven other war dead had been killed in North Korea while serving with British units. Pte Paterson was buried alongside more than two hundred other Australians who died during the Korean War.
