Bed patients also draw pay when Field Cashier 532545 Lieutenant William Thomas Perkins, of the 102nd Australian Field Cash Office, makes his fortnightly visit to Seoul. The patient is 13239 Private (Pte) Jack Hinds of Beaudesert, Qld, who is a member of B Company, 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR). Pte Hinds has been in Korea for three months. He is in the British Base Hospital under observation.
