Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan (CJSOTF-A) enamel badge
Description
Double sided enamel and brass medallion. One side features a Combined Services design of a parachute, crossed arrows and a pair of wings under an enclosed star. Under the design is 'AFGHANISTAN', and bordering the whole are the words 'COMBINED JOINT SPECIAL OPERATIONS TASK FORCE * OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM *', all on a black background. The reverse features centrally a map of Afghanistan in the national flag colours (black, red and green), under a title CJSOTF-A. Superimposed over the map is a tiny crest with the words 'Special Forces Airbourne'. Surrounding the map is a wide blue border featuring the US Armed Forces crests and the 13 flags of the participating nations.
