Portrait of 415088 Wallace Cyril Nelson from Tammin, Western Australia (WA) who participated in No. 18 Course 4 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) pilots course at Pearce Aerodrome, Cunderdin, Geraldton, WA, in 1941. He enlisted in the RAAF on 23 June 1941, was promoted to Pilot Officer and was killed on flying operations over Germany on 23 September 1943 while flying with 50 Squadron, RAF.
