Portrait of 415159 Gordon Albert Lucas from Perth, Western Australia (WA) who participated in No. 18 Course 4 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) pilots course at Pearce Aerodrome, Cunderdin, Geraldton, WA, in 1941. He enlisted in the RAAF on 21 July 1941, was promoted to Flying Officer and was killed in a flying battle over New Guinea while flying with 30 Squadron, RAAF.
