Acting Company Commander, 3/12015 Captain (Capt) Terry Gray, of Sydney, NSW (left), D Company, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR), talking on a radio set, requesting the 'all clear' before he sends off the Bristol Sycamore helicopters that will carry his men to reinforce 10 Platoon who are in need of reinforcments and supplies after chasing a group of fleeing Communist terrorists for the last 12 days through the jungle of Northern Perak and up into the mountains behind Sungei Siput. Capt Gray's Signalman, 1/2304 Private Allan Cronin, 24, of Ashgrove, Qld (right) listens in, ready to assist. The unidentified men in the background are waiting to board the helicopters. Capt Gray served in Korea with 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) and 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) in 1954 and later with Headquarters 28th British Commonwealth Infantry Brigade from 1954-1955. Pte Cronin also served in Korea with 2RAR from 1953-1954 and later with 1RAR in 1954.
