Three unidentified members of 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (2RAR), take a breather before moving off with their column that will bring up supplies to a forward company that is in contact with a group of Communist terrorists in the jungle of Malaya. The soldier on the right is armed with an Owen gun and the aluminium frame in the foreground is a Alice or 'A' frame which can be used for carrying one 44 pound ration carton.
