Portrait of 2/4785 Lance Corporal (L/Cpl) Maxwell Eardley Morris, 23, of Hay, NSW, 126th Transport Platoon, Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC), integrated with 3 Company, Royal Army Service Corps (RASC), standing at the back of his General Service (GS) truck. His job is to provide logisitic support to the Australian soldiers in Malaya by delivering food, ammunition and other supplies when ever and where ever it is needed. L/Cpl Morris also served in Korea with 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), from 1952-1953 and prior to joining the army he was employed as a drover.
