Description
Two members of Support Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), are carrying out training with a 2.67 Bazooka at Haramura, Japan. 22705 Corporal G H Pearce (right) is holding the Bazooka, while the other soldier, possibly 64604 Private E K Bates, is about to load the 2.5 Bazooka in preparation for firing at a target. The British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan is being raised to war time strength and 3RAR are training intensively for the type of terrain which will have to be covered in Korea.
