Knife : Warrant Officer Class 2 L Cunningham, 4RAR (Commando)
Description
Australian Army stainless steel knife, originally part of a clip-together knife, fork and spoon utensil set. On the handle is an impressed Broad Arrow and the markings 'GROSVENOR 691'. There is a keyhole shaped opening in the handle, through which the three parts of the utensil set were connected.
History / Summary
Used by 239707 WO II Laurie Cunningham, of 4 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (Commando), in Kuwait and Iraq, February - May 2003. Cunningham, who had previously seen service with 6 RAR in East Timor, enlisted in the Australian Army in July 1990.
