Description
Collection relating to 13592 Chief Petty Officer John Radley, RAN, 1922-1981. The collection comprises an extensive series of loose photographs and a photograph album documenting Radley's naval service, 1922-1946, with HMAS Adelaide, HMAS Melbourne, HMAS Canberra and HMAS Perth. Also included are Christmas and greeting cards to Radley from members of HMAS Oxley and HMAS Penguin and HMAS Perth. Other collection items include a guide issued to the sailors of HMAS Canberra with tourist information on Malaysia, a list of names from HMAS Wagga, invitations to attend naval functions, a menu for an Italian luncheon, 1940, and newspaper cuttings.
