NBC protective gloves : Commander I S Wheeler, HMAS Anzac
Description
Pair of Australian military issue NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) Mk II protective outer rubber gloves. The black rubber gloves are moulded in one piece without seams, and have no linings. On the back of each wrist are the following markings, printed in white 'CG 8415-99-130-9433 SIZE 10 J.N. & S. LTD. 1995'. The number 'A8640' is printed in silver at the cuff of the right hand glove, with the number 'D9627' in the corresponding location on the left. The gloves are stored inside the top flap of the green canvas respirator case (REL31449.007).
