Their home! Belgium 1918 : Buy National War Bonds and protect your home
Description
This British First World War poster was designed by Gregory F Brown and aims (through a comparison of Belgium) to encourage the British public to invest in War Bonds in order to protect their homes. The central image is of a weeping mother and her two children who sit with a cradle amongst the ruins of Ypres. This image is designed to have an emotive response with the British public urging them to invest in National War Bonds.
