Description
Timber trestle bridge of seven 14 foot spans, built across the Haute Deule Canal at Meurchin, by a party of No 1 Section, 3rd Australian Tunnelling Company, during October 1918. On the bridge is the Napier box car which had done extremely good work during three years continuous service with the unit. Leaning on the rail are Motor Transport Drivers Hopkins and Rolfe and Corporal Evans.
