Description
Leonard Parsons discusses his experiences as a Flight commander of No. 8 Squadron in New Guinea in 1944, his training experiences and his brothers who also received DFCs. His significant postings were to Essendon for training to Number 100 Squadron at Milne Bay, and to No. 8 Squadron. He later became Chief Flying Instructor at 1 Operational Training Unit, RAAF Base, Sale, Victoria.
