Description

Custom made Browning M1903 brown leather pistol holster. The holster is made from cow hide and is cotton stitched. There is a leather belt loop which is stitched and brass riveted to the holster. The leather flap can be fastened by a brass stud attached to the holster. There are no manufacturer markings.

History / Summary

The pistol holster came with the pistol that was offerred to the Australian War Memorial through the New South Wales Police Service firearms amnesty in 2001 and belonged to the deceased estate of Mr Hearne who saw service with Z Special forces during the Second World War.
