Description
Studio portrait of 877 Private (Pte) Edwin Carlill Morrison, C Company, 29th Battalion, of Glengarry, Vic. Pte Morrison enlisted on 26 June 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He was killed in action 26 September 1917 at Polygon Wood, Belgium. His brother, 2728 Pte Walter Beatson Morrison, 22nd Battalion, was killed in action on 3 May 1917 at Bullecourt, France.
