Description
View of Gaba Tepe from Brighton Beach looking south. The old barge which carried the storming party to Gaba Tepe on 4 May 1915 is ashore under the point in the right background. This point was used as an observation post for artillery and snipers. One of a series of photographs taken on the Gallipoli Peninsula under the direction of Captain C E W Bean of The Australian Historical Mission, during the months of February and March, 1919.
