Description

Mazar-e Sharif. A group of three Afghan horsemen riding hard in a buzhkasi competition, a traditional and very popular sport in rural Afghanistan. The rider in the centre in red and carrying the headless goat, typically used in these competitions, is the winner of the previous competition and the rider on the buckskin horse on the left is the eventual winner of this competition.
