Description
Poster produced by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee following the introduction of conscription. Previous to conscription, the Committee published a large variety of posters. Some were visually dull and employed slogans to attract viewer. Other posters employed interesting design features and illustrations to encourage civilians to enlist. Following conscription, the Committee concentrated on publishing simple factual posters outlining the new enlisting system. This poster is text-based, with red letters on a white background.
