Note The Ap Binh Chau (SW) sheet (6530-III-SW) from the 1st AMS edition of the Vietnam 1:25,000 topographical map series (L8015) overprinted with additional military intelligence. Covers the area around the coastal village of Binh Chau in the southern province of Phuoc Tuy (modern Ba Ria - Vung Tau). Overprint shows area cleared of vegetation, ruins, destroyed bridges and buildings, additional tracks. Base map prepared by AMS (PV) U.S. Army, 1966 and enlarged by Royal Australian Survey Corps, 1967. Shows the South China Sea coastline and sea depths, district boundaries, populated places, roads and tracks, rivers and streams, vegetation and terrain features. Relief shown by contours, spot heights and bathymetric soundings. "AFV/F7-12/2031". Includes legend in English and Vietnamese, glossary and index to adjoining sheets.
