A campaign honour awarded to units that served on operations in various parts of the Middle East, which was deemed to include Crete, Madagascar, the Aegean and Adriatic Seas, and the Dodecanese islands. The beginning and end dates of the individual honour are amended to denote the period of service of the unit concerned.
