Description
Studio portrait of 695 Private (Pte) David John Gunn, B Company, 29th Battalion. A farmer of Bridge-Creek via Dalyston, Vic, Pte Gunn enlisted on 28 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ascanius on 10 November 1915. He later served as a corporal and was killed in action on 8 May 1918 at Corbie, France.
