Nazi War Aims Revealed by Secret Nazi Map Circulated in 1937
Description
Allied Second World War poster depicting the perceived aims of the Axis powers in terms of lands to conquer. The poster provides an image of a map supposedly found in Czechoslovakia that showed German aims to take control of lands between Portugal and Romania and from Scandinavia to Bulgaria - all by 1948. Judging on the dates given in the lower right of land successfully taken by the Axis powers by the time of the designing of the poster, it was likely created during the so-called 'Phoney War' which lasted from 3 September 1939 to 10 May 1940.
