Description
Studio portrait of 505 Private (Pte) William Stirling Bishop, 23rd Battalion, of Toorak, Vic (standing). Pte Bishop enlisted on 23 February 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. He died of accidental injuries on 21 August 1915 at Heliopolis in Egypt. He is one of four soldier brothers.
