Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers, of 3413 Trooper (Tpr) John Bernard Dillon, 9th Australian Light Horse, of Mitcham Park, SA, originally of Tasmania. Tpr Dillon enlisted on 26 March 1917 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Commonwealth on 2 November 1917. He died of malaria in Egypt on 16 October 1918 aged 22 years.
