Description
Depicts an idealised image of a masculine Digger in a slouch hat positioned against a map of Australia. . The title and text sits above and below the image and is in white letters against a dark red background. The 'Diggers' Loan' followed the earlier Peace Loans to recoup the cost of the war and was the third and final peace loan. It functioned along the same lines as the War Loans, in that people 'lent' the government money in return for interest. This poster details the percentage of interest which would be repaid to lenders.
