Description
Studio portrait of either: 786 Private (Pte) James Albert Jones, 24th Battalion, of Seymour, Vic. Pte Jones enlisted on 30 March 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 8 May 1915. He was killed in action 6 January 1917 in France; or 65 Pte James Alfred Jones, 24th Battalion, of Beechworth, Vic. Pte Jones enlisted on 13 March 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 8 May 1915. He was killed in action 29 July 1916 at Pozieres, France.
