Semaine de la Haute-Garonne, 5-12 Mars 1916 [Collection week in the Haute-Garonne, 5-12 March 1916]
Description
A woman dressed in a hat and 1916 blue haute couture dress stands with arms outstretched, carrying a collection tin with her feet delicately crossed. At lower left, the crest of the Haute-Garonne, located in South West France, with the motto: "Secura quiescit Occitania." The text and image on the poster appeal to the public to aid the collection of funds for the support of the injured, the mutilated, the orphans, the prisoners and those with tuberculosis as a result of the war.
