Description
Studio portrait off 1600 Private (Pte) John Mark Taylor, 3rd Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, of Melbourne, Vic (originally of Bermondsay, London, England). Pte Taylor enlisted on 16 December 1914 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Runic on 19 February 1915. He died of wounds on 5 September 1916 and is buried at the Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
