Studio portrait of 2876 Private (Pte) Leslie Wyndham Brownbill, 29th Battalion, from Geelong, Vic. Pte Brownbill enlisted on 8 January 1916 and was killed in action on the Somme on 24 November 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial in the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, France.
