Meat for Britain...
Description
Issued by the Commonwealth Rationing Commission in 1943 this poster promotes the sending of Australian meat to Britain. In the upper half of the poster is a photograph showing meat being loaded onto a ship in the lower half is an image of a family sitting outside a bomb damaged house set against a bright yellow background. A bright green graphic arrow connects the two images visually inscribed with the text 'We've got the MEAT and we'll see they get their share'.
