Andreae, Heinrich Romer (German Army)
Description
Handwritten letter from Heinrich Romer Andreae, a German Army officer, to the mother of Lieutenant Alan S Righetti, 2nd Light Horse Regiment, describing the circumstances of her son's death at Romani on 4 August 1916. He describes the fighting at Katib Gannit and his defence against the courageous Australian forces.
