Map of Mouquet Farm, Somme, and the area adjacent thereto which was the scene of bitter fighting in August, 1916. The map was used by the staff of 3rd Australian Infantry Battalion, one of the Australian units which played a prominent role in the operations against this point. That portion of the map outlined in blue and indelible pencil indicates roughly the positions beld by the Battalion.
