Description
Collection of five items relating to QX17307 Hugh Vincent Clarke who served with 2/10 Field Regiment and was a prisoner of war during the Second World War.
Wallet 1 of 1 - comprises typescript copies of affadvit, oath and covering letter regarding Clarke's identification of a Japanese Officer for the war crimes trials 1946 and the ill-treatment of prisoners of war. Also Clarke's detailed description of the voyage from Thailand to Japan aboard the Bioki Maru, and a final statement of account dated 1945 after Clarke was discharged from the Australian Military Forces.
