Description

Jack Thomas Glew interviewed by Alistair Thomson about his service in Gallipoli, France and England 1915-1918. The interview includes discussion of Jack's enlistment in the Army (to escape from life at home helping his father in a timber yard); being a horse driver for the Australian Artillery in France and feeling fatalistic about his survival on the Western Front; army discipline and conditions; home coming and post war experiences.
