Studio portrait of 638 Private (Pte) William Leslie Hyder, 24th Battalion, of St Arnaud, Vic. Pte Hyder enlisted on 18 March 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Euripides on 10 May 1915. On 26 August 1916 he was killed in action near Albert in the Somme region of France. See also DA08563.
